TRESemmé #ReverseYourRoutine vobox from Influenster

I was lucky to receive the TRESemmé vobox complimentary to test and review! Yay!!

Well, I’ve used the products for about 2 weeks now and think it’s been just enough time to review them!

Let’s delve into a little bit of history.

TRESemmé translated from the French “très-aimé” means “well-loved” and was first introduced in 1947.  The initial intent was to sell this at salons, but the brand became so popular that they began to sell it in supermarkets as well.  The great thing about TRESemmé is that they formulate their products to suit different hair types, so there is probably something for everyone out there.

I was able to try out the Beauty-Full Volume shampoo and conditioner.  It’s a new way to wash your hair and makes a lot of sense that I wonder why I never thought to do it before. It’s a reverse system so you condition your hair first and… yep, you guessed it, shampoo second!  They say when you condition your hair last, it gets weighed down by that and also will become oily faster, but if you shampoo all of that excess away, your hair is left feeling way better.

So, I went to test it out.  I wondered if my hair would feel dramatically different or not.  I did the reverse process and oh let me tell you that these products smell amazing.  I’m not great at describing smells, so I’m sorry – but the conditioner is a bit floral like and the shampoo smells a bit sweeter and those are two of my favorites, so I was happy.

I was a bit lazy and don’t like to blow dry my hair, so I painstakingly waited for my hair to air dry.  I ran my fingers through my hair and was surprised at how soft it felt. It also didn’t feel as heavy and was full of volume.  I didn’t think I had a problem with volume, but I can see now that I maybe do.  I’ve been using the shampoo and conditioner for about two weeks now and it still feels super soft and I can say I prefer it to anything I’ve used in the past.

I tried my best at taking a picture with my hair upside down, but it’s kind of long and my bed is kind of low so... yeah.

So, I give these product 5 stars.  I didn’t think there was going to be a dramatic difference, but was pleasantly surprised that there was!
